Balloons and ice cream

A very good afternoon to all my friends and followers, I hope you are all having a lovely Easter weekend.
We popped down to the seaside this morning for a little wander and a spot of lunch. Managed a quick walk on the beach afterwards before it started to rain too.
I saw a challenge on City Crafter to use clouds and thought this fab little image I recently won from Star Stampz would be ideal to use. The paper is by Lozzy of A Bit More Time to Craft. I die cut a couple of balloons and punched some corners with a Hobbycraft punch. The sentiments are a mix of Hobbycraft clear stamps and magazine freebies. I added a banner to the bottom and a couple of gems to finish off:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

City Crafter #304 -on cloud nine
Crafty Friends #28-anything goes
Imagine That -birthday
2 Creative Chicks #8-anything goes
Crafty Time - birthday
Just Keep on Creating -anything goes March
Creative Ladybirds #13-anything goes

Well thank you so much for stopping by for a visit today.
Hope to see you soon and until next time.

Happy Easter

Hello today and a very Happy Easter to all.
This is just a really quick post to wish you all a wonderful and peaceful weekend.
I started mine with a really lazy morning and actually got to spend some time making and putting together a couple of cards. I really enjoyed myself and am hoping I can get back to my normal craft speed over the holidays.
I made this card using some stickers I found at the front of a First Edition paper pack, I'd completely forgotten they were there and thought they were really cute and just right for a quick card I needed to make.
The yellow check paper is also from a First Edition pack and the sentiment was from a magazine freebie.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Crafting with Friends #17 -anything goes
Creative Fingers #105 -anything goes
Daring Cardmakers -spring
Fussy and Fancy #160-pastel colours
QKR stampede #184-easter cards

Wishing you all a wonderful time over the holidays and I hope to see you all again soon.
Thanks so much for visiting today.
Until next time.

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends challenge 30

Hello to all,
First of all I must apologise for being such a bad blogger this last couple of weeks but I have had lots going on and to add to that my mojo has completely left me- I have been checking in every day though to keep up with all your gorgeous makes.
This post is to let you all know that we have  a new challenge beginning today over at the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends and of course like always it is an Anything Goes theme.
For our challenge we have two fab sponsors so our thanks must go to the fab

Prize ~ up to $10 USD/€10 Euro worth of digital stamps

Prize ~ €10 Euro Gift Voucher

For my card I got to use the gorgeous Elf Maiden from Moonflower Digistamps and coloured her up with Promarkers. I layered her with some gorgeous papers called Treasure my Heart from Michele R and layered her up with Kraft card. I added some paper flowers from Sweet Lilac and added a die cut heart and corner. The sentiment is computer generated and a few pearls and sequins finished it all off:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Trying a little less fussy

Hello friends and followers, hope you are all well and that you had a good weekend.
I had a lovely Mothers Day, went shopping with my daughter and had some lunch out which was very nice-hope you all had a lovely day however you spent yours.
I've had a little bit of a crafting wobble this week-someone made a comment on my cards and said I should make some that were more simple and with more general images-not the 'little girls' I normally use. I spent about three hours yesterday trying to do just that but I don't know, I struggled with it and felt a bit lost for a while. I ended up throwing three away, getting myself in a right old mood and then putting all my stuff away.
In the end I came up with this one -no flowers and no die cuts and although it is girly she isn't little!! I felt a little bit lost and my mojo definitely went AWOL but then figured I should just make what makes me happy and accept that it won't always be what other people may choose!
My image is from Pink Gem and is a pre-coloured version-I really love the colours on this one so chose to use this rather than colour one up myself and after spoiling three cards I felt I needed something a bit quicker.
My papers are from Lozzy at A Bit More Time to Craft and are from the Fun set. The only thing added is a sentiment and a couple of gems:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Creative Craft Cottage #59-sentimental
Craft your Passion # 302 -anything goes
Crafting from the Heart #102-anything goes
Our Crafty Corner #7-anything goes
Crafting with Dragonflies #52 -girly
Inky Impressions -lets hear it for the girl
In the Pink #89 -for a special lady
Cardz 4 galz #17-women

well that's all from me for today, hopefully I'll be back soon and my mojo will have returned to it's normal self.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you wish to leave. Have a good week and until next time.
